The 3in Prediction competition will be divided into 2 phases. You will need to predict the outcome of the group phase which starts on Thursday, 11th June and ends on Sunday, 28th June.
Then, once we know who has qualified from the 12 groups, we will make more predictions for the knockout phase, starting with the round of 16 which commences on Saturday, 4th July.
There will also be a small number of tie-breaker questions in the event of ties at the conclusion of the tournament.

Phase 1 – The Group Stage
The initial phase sees the 48 countries divided into 12 groups of 4 teams. At the end of this phase, the top two teams in each group, plus the 8 third-placed teams with the best records, will advance to the knockout phase.
Your job is to predict which 16 teams will FAIL to advance to the knockout phase.
Phase 2 – Round of 16 to the Final
The 32 surviving teams will take part in a straight knockout competition. We will take a short break for the Round of 32 to get our breath back and re-start our predictions from the Round of 16, which commences on Saturday, 4th July.
From the Round of 16, simply choose the 8 teams that you think will advance to the quarter finals then, based on the guesses you have made, choose the 4 that you think will reach the semi-finals, next choose the 2 finalists and, finally, the eventual winner.
The tie-breaker questions will include predicting the golden boot winner for the most goals scored, the player of the tournament and the team that wins the FIFA Fair Play award.

Phase 2 – open this link and complete all of the questions. Please, please, please make sure you use the same name and phone number that you gave for phase 1! You can complete this form at any time but I suggest you at least wait until the group stage is completed on 28th June. Last date for entries is 5pm on Saturday, 4th July.
