There was no 5-4-Friday last week as I was busy helping the Brucies to victory over the Tarbies in the 33rd Brigand Cup at Hellidon Lakes in Daventry. As I have been basking in that glory ever since, we have another short golf-related 54F today.

Belt loops – why do golf trousers have a million belt loops? Why do they need any more than normal kecks?

Pink tees – why are fluorescent pink castle tees impossible to find?

Wind direction – why is that, no matter which direction you are playing at your golf club, you always seem to be playing in to the wind?

Lost ball – why is that when you hit your ball in to the rough or the trees, you find a dozen scabby golf balls but rarely your own. And why are golf balls not on the “Find My “ app?

Rogue tee pegs – why is that when you think you have compete emptied your pocket after a round, there is always a rogue little green tee peg or a magnetic ball marker left behind to clog up the washing machine?

See you at the 19th – Griff
